If you know you’re going to be busy dashing around and won’t have time for a proper meal, get the villa staff to lay out a selection of healthy snacks for you and the other bridesmaids to nibble on when you get a chance. Whether you’re in the mood for raw Vietnamese spring rolls or a colourful Thai fruit plate, the kitchen will be able to match your healthy appetite.

Before you head out into the sun to greet guests as they arrive at the wedding villa, ensure that you’ve packed a beauty kit that will stay with you for the rest of the day. This should always include tissues, of course, in case you get a little teary when the bride and groom are saying their vows.
