Thai Spa Association offer discount campaign to revive a sluggish market.

Thai Spa Association is supporting its member spas operators in Thailand with a promotional campaign called, Happy Spring 2009 that offers 50% discounts on spa visits.

Thai Spa Association president, Andrew Jacka, said the campaign would spa goers, domestic consumers and tourists.

"Consumer spending and foreign tourist arrivals have declined, resulting in an adverse impact on our industry. We collaborated with our member spas to offer this campaign." said Mr Jacka.

According to TSPA, the campaign offers 50% discount voucher on all a-la-carte spa treatments at participating TSPA member spas, 1 January to 28 February 2009.

A discount voucher can be printed in advance from the Thai Spa Association web site at www.thaispaassociation.com. Advance reservations are required and they must be made directly with the spa. Upon arrival, customer must present the voucher.

Spa operators in  the campaign are such as: Banyan Tree Spa - Bangkok; Spa Cenvaree  (12 locations); Imperial Spa  (five locations in Imperial Hotels throughout Thailand); JW's Health Club and Spa - Marriott  Hotel Bangkok; S Medical Spa - Bangkok; TRIA Integrative Wellness - Bangkok; Palm Herbal Retreat - Bangkok;  Pranali Spa - Bangkok.
